(Optional return routes). Join Len Campagna-Pinto for a great way to add base miles to your training regimen. Ride starts at Los Prados Park, San Mateo (near E Hillsdale & S Norfolk or see Every Monday Java Jive From San Mateo for specific directions). Meet at 8:15 for 8:30 start. Will ride south along the Bay Trail, through Redwood City, Alameda de las Pulgas/Junipero Serra/Foothill Expressway, Fremont Ave to meet the start of the Tuesday Loop, which leaves at 11 am from Starbucks at Fremont Ave and S Mary, Sunnyvale. We will arrive early enough for a short rest and cup of coffee. The return trip provides the option of either joining the Tuesday Loop (about 81 total miles with speed bumps) or simply riding back (abt 51 miles). We could climb Arastradero before lunch.
