 Old  Santa Cruz ,  Browns   Valley ,  and Eureka   Canyon. Ride through the redwoods to the Gizdich Ranch for ice cream and pie. Burn lots of calories and forget about fat going to the thigh. Enjoy seconds at the Summit Store for an extended sugar high. A shortcut is available for a 60 mile ride. Meet Alex Lew (650-537-7445 or alexanderlew@att.net) at the Lexington Reservoir in  Los Gatos  at 8:15 AM for an 8:30 AM departure. From Hwy 17 South: Bear Creek exit, turn right and cross over Hwy 17, Hwy 17 North onramp, exit on Alma Bridge. Park at the gravel lot on top of the dam or the county parking lot ($6) farther up on the right. Rain cancels.
