    • Cupertino Bike Shop

Meet Bill Strahm (5037813705, bill.strahm@gmail.com) at 5;45 PM at Cupertino Bike Shop. Lets start hill intervals.  Meet in the parking lot of Cupertino Bike at the corner of McClellan and Foothill Expressway. Meet at 5:45 PM, rolling at 6:00 PM prompt or it will get dark. Mt. Eden is great for this, Starting April 1st we will climb Mt. Eden once - and come back to the start. Warm up to the bottom of Mt. Eden (10-12 MPH) climb at your own pace - regroup at the top and return. No lunch stop.

In Mid April - we will add stop at the park at the bottom for 2 minutes, followed by a second trip up to the top. The goal is to be back before dark, however - it is always good to ride with lights and make yourself visible in case we do one climb to many and it starts to get dark. Will discuss the number of climbs of Mt. Eden before we leave and the rules for how the intervals work once we start doing multiple climbs. If you don't like hills - this is the perfect ride for you to build your strength and speed on climbs so the mountains can become your friends.
