If you can ride the hills but not at the fast D/E pace, come join us, the D Social Climbers. We do the same ride as the D/E's, meeting at Shoup Park at 8:45 am for a 9:00 am departure. • San Francisco Caltrain Station

Meet Ken Lee (ken3lee@gmail.com) at the San Francisco Caltrain station at 10:00 AM. We will wait for the train arriving at 10:02 AM, but suggest that you try an earlier train if possible to avoid crowding. This is one of the most scenic 40 mile bike rides in the Bay Area. Spring and fall are the best seasons to ride it when rain and fog are unlikely.  Ride around the Embarcadero, over the Golden Gate Bridge, and up into the Marin Headlands. Descend past the old forts and Nike missile base and through the tunnel to Sausalito. Follow the Marin bike paths to Tiburon, then around the Paradise Loop. Return to San Francisco via the Larkspur Ferry ($9 cash, $6 Clipper card, $5 seniors). Optional lunch in Larkspur or bring your own to eat on the ferry or train home. We plan to get back to the Caltrain station before the evening rush hour crowds. Here's a video of a past club ride along this route: http://youtu.be/GkYYu33cakk
