It specializes in cycling tours for small groups of enthusiastic cyclists in Piedmont, northwestern Italy, and the Rhone-Alpes region of southeastern France, every week May–September. Both locations, far off the well-worn tourist tracks, offer a wide variety of scenic terrain and rides on quiet roads suitable for C- through E riders, as well as excellent regional cuisine and cultural attractions.

CPR Classes

Sports Basement offers free CPR classes with advance registration. Check their web page for current details and also to register. As of May 2013, the Sunnyvale store has classes on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month 6–9 pm; the Campbell store has classes the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month 4–7 pm. Additional stores offering classes are in Walnut Creek, San Francisco Bryant Street and San Francisco Presidio.
