Another Everest Challenge climb, this route takes us up Glacier Lodge Rd. (el. 7,800'), a favorite starting point for rock climbers. Long stretches of 10%. Optionally add Death Valley Rd for an extra 34 miles with 3700 feet of climbing. Meet at Mendenhall Park in Big Pine, CA. at 8:15 am for a prompt 8:30 departure. From Bishop drive 15 miles south on US-395 to Big Pine - the park is 0.1 miles west of US-395 on Baker Creek Rd. Buy lunch at the end of the ride.
