Western Wheelers Bicycle Club Survey

on the proposed

Page Mill Road Reconfiguration

The County of Santa Clara Roads and Airports Department in conjunction with other agencies has published a proposal to improve both automobile, bicycle and pedestrian traffic on Page Mill Road from I-280 to El Camino (June 2015).    This report  was presented to the public in a series of public meetings .  The Page Mill – Foothill Expressway is highly congested and is expected to get much worse in the coming decade.

The report and executive summary document several alternatives to relieving this traffic congestion and improving bicycle and pedestrian safety.  Please read the following summary of this proposal;  you are encouraged to read the Report/Executive Summary for more detail.   As cyclists and residents, we have a stake in this project.  As a club, we have an opportunity to influence the project and we need your input on what, if any, stand the club should take on this issue.

Please answer the survey from the point of view of  both a bicyclist and driver.  You are encouraged to reply by August 7, 2015 directly to the county by email at  PageMill280@countryroads.org or in writing to:
