CD/3.3(5900')71 MT TAM, TAKE 2

If you missed the Mt Tam LDT ride in May or just want to do it again, here's your chance! Meet Frank Houghton (312-479-4790, fphoughton@att.net) and Cindy Asrir (415-571-6581, casrir@gmail.com) in the parking lot of the Marin County Civic Center at 10 am for a 10:15 ride start. We will do the D LDT route at a C/D pace, climbing Mt Tamalpais to the summit, looping to Point Reyes Station for lunch, and then returning via Nicasio Valley and Lucas Valley Rd. Rain cancels.

We plan to split into two groups--Frank will lead the D's and Cindy will lead the more social-paced C's--but both will do the same route with the same regroups.  We have added a couple of fun regroups for water and optional iced coffees, ice cream or snacks, and there are also snacks available at the top of Mt Tam. Lunch will be at the Cowgirl Creamery in Point Reyes, where you can not only get cheese (yum!) but sandwiches, salads and great coffee, and sit outside at the picnic tables,  enjoying the gorgeous weather.

Meeting location: Marin County Civic Center (Armory Drive, San Rafael, CA). From the Golden Gate Bridge take 101 north approximately 14 miles to North San Pedro Road. Exit eastbound, and turn left at Civic Center Drive (first stop light). Turn right onto Armory Drive which leads into the large parking lot.
