Neil turns 69 on November 12, so we're celebrating his birthday with a tribute ride to one of the most influential rock musicians of our time, as well as one of Woodside's most famous residents. Starting at the Alpine Inn (where Neil has been known to give impromptu concerts over the years), we'll ascend Old La Honda to Skyline, ride down to Star Hill and Native Sons to the gate of Neil's ranch, climb back up and enjoy a beautiful descent down Kings Mountain on our way back. Social ride with regroups. Lunch (and optional beer) are at the Alpine Inn at the end of the ride. Meet at the Alpine Inn, 3915 Alpine Rd (at Arastradero) in Portola Valley at 9:45 am for a 10:00 AM start. Bring plenty of water, snacks and your favorite Neil Young stories to share along the way.
