B/0.5/25 A New Way to San Jose

Meet Bill Eaglstein (305-342-4053, weaglstein@gmail.com) & George Schuttinger (650-793-4221, gschuttinger@hotmail.com) at 9:45 AM at Cuesta Park in Mountain View for a 10:00 AM departure. On Cuesta Dr. going south pull into the parking lot nearest Grant Rd. Go to the back near the rest rooms. We’ll start there. We’ll take the Stevens Creek Trail to the Bay. Then the bay trail across Moffett (about 2 miles, hard surface with a little gravel) and the Sunnyvale Baylands Trail will take us to the Guadalupe River Trail for lunch at San Pedro Square. After lunch we’ll ride to the San Jose Caltrain station and ride the train back to Mountain View and bike back to Cuesta. For the more enthusiastic, ride back from lunch by reversing the route for a 40 mile ride.
