  • Top of Wilson Hill - you could see Mt St Helena at the north end of the Napa Valley and Sugarloaf Ridge between the Napa and Sonoma valleys very clearly. Wilson Hill is a great biking road.
  • Top of Wilson Hill - nice hill - not too high, not too steep.
  • Almost at the top of Novato Boulevard - B ride. (Lightened the picture in Photoshop to make this really pale on my computer. When it is uploaded it gets much darker. Suspect gamma curve is tweaked.)

  • Almost back - there's a good bike trail from Lincoln Boulevard to the Golden Gate Bridge - sign explains how the bridge has been reinforced to stop it twisting.
  • Golden Gate Bridge - the Marin Headlands are behind and to the left. The B ride went half way up - the other rides went all the way to the top. Great views.
  • We made it up from Fort Baker (the coastguard station).
  • Lunch on the grass in Tiburon - warm for February.
  • Getting ready to set off on the Long Distance Training ride to Tiburon via the Marin Headlands and the Golden Gate Bridge - plenty of parking space in the Presidio.
